About Me

Vikki Szabo, MA, LPC, ACS

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor.  I received my masters degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and I have nearly 20 years of experience working with clients with many concerns including but not limited to:  depression, anxiety, OCD, self esteem, and substance abuse.  I have worked in many different treatment settings including outpatient, inpatient, hospital, in home, school based, and private practice.  My approach to counseling is eclectic and client centered.  I believe it is important to meet the client where they are at.  I use several different techniques in my counseling sessions including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. My approach is friendly and inviting and I promise to provide you with a nonjudgmental, safe, and empowering space for us to work in.  I love helping others and I think it shows in my sessions!   In my free time you can find me chasing my 2 daughters, reading a good book, hiking, skiing, or on the beach!
